Jaleo Blanco

Felix Solis Avantis is a well-known wine-making holding in Spain, it is one of the three largest wine producers in the country. The holding was founded in the 1950s by Felix Solis Fernandez. First, the wine was produced in Madrid and Valdepenas. In the 1960s, wines were sold not only in Spain, but also exported to countries such as Andorra and Africa. In the 1970s, Felix’s sons Pedro, Juan Antonio, Manuel and Felix, who built another winery in the Valdepeñas region, began to lead the company. In 2000, the company acquired farms in the most famous wine-growing regions: Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Valdepeñas and La Mancha. Today, the holding includes two independent divisions: "Felix Solis" and "Pagos del Rey", which export their wines to more than 80 countries and also own commercial centers in the USA, Great Britain, Japan, Germany, France and the Czech Republic. In 1998, the holding organized wine production in Shanghai, where wines produced in Spain are aged and bottled. According to the well-known British magazine ISWR, in 2006 the Felix Solis Avantis holding took the 10th place in the world ranking of the largest wine producers.
